Having assessed your health issue, you will be given a personalised diet plan and specific supplements. You will also be given advice on which are the best foods to suit you. Handouts are given and recipe suggestions. In preparation for your first appointment you will need to fill in a food diary.
What is nutritional therapy good for?
Nutritional therapy focuses on ensuring you are getting enough of the right nutrients, vitamins and minerals for your body to function properly
Nutritional therapy is ffective in resolving many chronic health complaints. You may have been taking pain killers for a long time and wish to find a more effective answer to your problem. Medication has many different side effects, but with nutritional therapy you can lower or eliminate the need for medication.
There are natural anti inflammatories for pain and swelling. Particular natural remedies can help to make your blood more alkaline. The less acidic your blood is, the higher your health will be.
Nutritional therapy is important in supporting your exercise programme to increase energy and mood and help you reach your ideal weight. It is not a good idea to do heavy exercise without increasing your nutrient levels. This is like trying to run a car without petrol and ultimately you may damage yourself by doing this.
Anyone can benefit from nutritional therapy as it can help you improve your health and prevent future illness. These are some of the health issues nutritional therapy can help with:-
